The Name

Initiation,

I was told that since

I am not initiated,

I have no name,

I belong to no one,

I have no connection;

I am nothing, I have no one.

And even if I serve my Master;

I am of no one’s servant. And

Although I’ve listened and heard,

obeyed, followed and learned,

I am not a student, because

my name is unchanged.

seemingly,

even in spirituality,

some people’s goal

is to have a name.

But does my existence

starts in this material plane?

Do I have no identity

before my mortal birth?

Certainly not, for if I do have

an eternal loving Father,

The One who has many names

must have had called me

by my name.
